Code of Conduct
Tiana Shores Association (TSA) is run by volunteers including a volunteer Board of Directors. With the spirit of cooperation we can accomplish much and enhance everyone’s enjoyment of the Club and overall Club experience. We want everyone to have a great Summer and we would ask all members and their guests to do their part.
Our Members Code of Conduct provides basic membership rules at our Club and outlines conduct and responsibilities members must accept as a condition of their joining TSA. At our Club, we pride ourselves on creating a community environment founded on mutual cooperation and respect. By agreeing to work together in the spirit of cooperation, we can have a great season and have a great summer. To that end, all members are responsible identifying themselves as members, properly securing the property and general maintenance as outlined below:
TSA and Tyvek Bracelets
All Members are dues paying and are issued TSA ID Bracelets for the protection and safety of our Club as well as our members. Guests of members will be issued Tyvek bracelets (obtained from the Lifeguard) on the day of use and must wear them during the duration of their stay. We ask all members and their guests who enter TSA property (to use any TSA facilities: the pool, the beach or the tennis court) to wear their TSA ID bracelets and SIGN IN in the Sign-In book.
Property Access and Exit
All members are provided with the lock combinations to the Club property. If you are the last one to leave the facility, please turn off breezeway and bathroom lights and secure the property by closing the breezeway door and closing and locking the property gates (walk through and driveway) behind you.
Important: For your own safety and protection of Tiana Shores Association, please do not share lock combination with non-members.
Use of Facilities
Use of the facilities before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM is generally prohibited without prior written approval of Board. Use of the facilities for organizations, regularly scheduled or periodic meetings, or for groups other than social and family gatherings is generally prohibited without prior, written approval of the Board. Gatherings may be subject to a rental fee and prior written approval from the Board, at rates to be published from time to time. Members and their guests are to adhere to all TSA rules and regulations outlined herein.
Screened-in Porch, Patio and Beach Use
The screened-in porch, non-fenced portions of the outdoor patio, and the beach may be used at any reasonable time by members and their guests, when not in use for a Club function or rental, in a manner that does not interfere with the use and enjoyment of the facilities by other members and their guests.
Use of radios or amplified sound must be quiet and respectful of others and our neighbors.
Members may use their own grills in the beach area consistent with prudent practice, fire codes and all laws, rules and regulations. The BBQ grill and other special Club property and facilities may not be used by members without prior, written approval of the Board.
Reminder: All areas of the TSA property shall be left clean and neat.
Club Care and Maintenance
We do not have a cleaning staff, therefore it is the responsibility of members to keep the Club neat for everyone’s enjoyment. As a courtesy among members we should all adopt the concept of “leave the Club in better shape than you found it.” To that end, take a moment at day’s end to look around the area where you (and your family) spent the day (be it the beach, patio, porch or pool area) and:

- bring cushions back to pool area
- return chairs to their original location
Prohibited Activities

If the member or guest leaves the TSA property, they must take their personal effects with them and vacate the chairs and space they occupied.
